The couch, a dark blue leather piece, was featured in their love story during the show. Gilles, a farmer from the Pays de Bray, initially chose Isabelle over another contestant, Pascaline. Their relationship has progressed since then, with Isabelle gradually moving her belongings into Gilles’s home.
Isabelle revealed that her complete move would not happen until January 2026, as her son still lives with her. She stated, “I need to pack, and I’m not very organized in that regard.”

The couple shared their nostalgic announcement on Facebook, inviting fans to recognize the iconic couch. “It’s this couch where it all started. The looks, the smiles, the filming moments you experienced with us on your screens. This couch truly has a story,” they expressed.
The auction for this cherished piece begins at €100, with a minimum bidding increment of €20. Bidding will end on Wednesday, April 8, at 20:00. The winning bidder will need to pick up the couch directly from Gilles and Isabelle’s home, where they will also enjoy a complimentary drink.
Future Plans and Projects
Beyond the couch sale, Gilles and Isabelle are actively pursuing new endeavors together. They have initiated “Les marchés de l’amour,” an event allowing fans to meet former contestants from the show. This first edition is set for June 6 and 7 at the hippodrome in Mauquenchy, near Rouen, Seine-Maritime.
