On April 2, E Mishan & Sons, a consumer products distributor based in New York, announced the recall of approximately 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans. The issue arises from reports that the metal cap connecting the pan handle can detach, posing risks of burns and impacts during use.
Reported Incidents
- A total of 98 incidents have been reported to date.
- One report involved a consumer who suffered bruising and burn injuries.

The recalled sauté pans are made of stainless steel and were sold as a two-piece set. The sizes of the pans are 10 inches and 11.5 inches. The Universal Product Code (UPC) for these products is 0-80313-08131-6.

These sauté pans were available for purchase in physical stores at Costco and online at Costco.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon.com. They were sold from August 2021 until February 2026, priced around $40.
