Emergency services responded to the scene at the intersection of Lancaster Street and Guelph Street around 9:45 p.m. The intersection is equipped with stoplights to regulate traffic flow.

- The victim was riding an e-bike at the time of the crash.

- The pickup truck involved was driven by a 38-year-old man, also from Kitchener.
