Haute-Savoie Fire Displaces Elderly Woman from Home Overnight

A fire on the night of April 4th caused the evacuation of an elderly woman from her home in Haute-Savoie. Emergency services responded swiftly to the incident, which occurred around 9:50 PM. The fire broke out in a residential building located in the village of Coin.

In total, 24 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. This included:

- A ladder truck
- A water tanker
- A rescue vehicle

The firefighters arrived promptly, managing to control the blaze by midnight. They deployed four hoses, including one from the ladder truck to tackle the flames effectively.

The fire severely impacted the 100-square-meter property, which featured one floor and an attic. Fortunately, the 77-year-old homeowner was unharmed and evacuated the building safely.
