In their later matchup, the Canadian team took firm control of the game. According to Ryan Harnden, Canada’s lead, “We controlled the game. (The ice) was quite slow, so we tried to keep it simple.” Their strategy paid off, culminating in a decisive three-point score in the ninth end.

As the championship progresses, the focus is on securing a top-two position in the standings for a bye to the semifinals. Dunstone emphasized the importance of maintaining their momentum: “We have to keep the pedal down and keep on going.”

With the medal games scheduled for Saturday, the competition remains fierce as teams aim for the coveted championship title.
