Jack Whitehall Hosts ‘SNL UK’; Jorja Smith as Musical Guest

“Saturday Night Live U.K.” has announced British comedian Jack Whitehall as the host for its upcoming April 11 episode. Accompanying him will be R&B artist Jorja Smith, who will perform as the musical guest.

Jorja Smith recently released her second album, titled “Falling or Flying,” in 2023. In addition, she is set to headline the All Points East Festival in London this August, sharing the stage with Tems.
“SNL U.K.” Series Details
The British version of the classic U.S. series began airing on March 21. The premiere episode featured Tina Fey as the host and Wet Leg as the musical guest. Following that, Jamie Dornan hosted the second episode, which included performances by Wolf Alice.
Riz Ahmed will host the episode on April 4, accompanied by Kasabian. “SNL U.K.” is designed to run for eight episodes, with a brief hiatus after the initial episodes. The series will resume on April 25.

Scott Bryan from Variety noted that “SNL U.K.” finds its strength in embracing British comedic styles.
