Traditionally, this prestigious title applies to pilots who have shot down five or more enemy aircraft, but it has now been awarded to gunners for neutralizing Iranian drones.

Future Preparedness
The UK Ministry of Defence recently announced plans to deploy the Rapid Sentry system to Kuwait to bolster air defenses against Iranian aggression. Additionally, the UK will procure more Lightweight Multirole Missiles, developed by Thales UK, to enhance defense capabilities for British forces and allies in the region.
