Owen Protz Signs Three-Year Entry-Level Contract
Montreal Canadiens have signed Owen Protz to a three-year entry-level contract, which runs from the 2026-27 season through to 2028-29. This announcement was made by general manager Kent Hughes.

At just 20 years old, Owen Protz has already made significant strides in his hockey career. Currently, he plays defense for the Brantford Bulldogs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). During the current season, he participated in 64 games, where he scored five goals and provided 18 assists.
