Organizers’ Vision
Keiran Lee-Ridgway, the lead organizer, emphasizes the importance of creating a welcoming environment. He notes that maintaining free admission will help facilitate greater participation. The aim is to foster a sense of belonging and encourage residents to engage with their local LGBT community.
“This event gives people a purpose to stay in Coalville,” he remarked. Many individuals often travel to other locations to connect with the community. The Pride event seeks to change that by establishing a vibrant local scene dedicated to inclusivity and celebration.
