This best-of-three series will determine the winner of the coveted SoFi Cup. The championship matches are significant for both teams, with Los Angeles entering as a formidable contender following a stellar performance last season.

  • Jupiter Links Golf Club: Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner (Tiger Woods and Akshay Bhatia will not play, with Bhatia participating in the Hero Indian Open).

Previous Matchups

Historically, Los Angeles has dominated their encounters with Jupiter. In the regular season, Los Angeles defeated Jupiter by a score of 8-4. Notably, in 2025, Los Angeles won with a staggering margin of 12-1, setting a record for the largest victory in TGL history.

Although Jupiter struggled significantly in the inaugural season, they made a remarkable comeback. The team led the league in singles points won and was second in both short-putt efficiency and greens in regulation.

Path to the Championship

Los Angeles advanced to the finals by beating Atlanta Drive Golf Club 6-4 in a closely contested semifinal. Meanwhile, Jupiter secured their spot by defeating Boston Common Golf 9-5, eliminating the top seed in a powerful performance.

Competition Format

During the championship matches, there will be two styles of competition:

  • Triples: Nine holes played in an alternate-shot format featuring three players per team.
  • Singles: Six holes of head-to-head competition, with each player taking part in two holes.

If the match is tied after 15 holes, teams will engage in overtime, performing a closest-to-the-pin challenge to determine the winner. The distance for this shot will range from 25 to 50 yards, decided prior to the match.

Looking Ahead

Both Los Angeles and Jupiter are in pursuit of their first SoFi Cup victory. With Los Angeles riding a four-match winning streak, the stakes are high as both teams prepare to compete for the championship title in an electrifying finale.
