The South Shore Regional Centre for Education has suspended all school activities. In the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education, schools in Shelburne County are closed, while those in Yarmouth and Digby remain operational. Additionally, Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education has announced early dismissals for most of its schools, except those located north of Smokey.
In the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education, bus drivers are advised to use caution, assessing road conditions as they occur. Certain schools in the Strait Regional Centre for Education have also opted for early dismissals, and classes at St. Mary’s Education Centre and Fanning Education Centre/Canso Academy have been cancelled. Schools within the Halifax Regional Centre for Education are still open as of now.
