Three Medals in One Day: Check the World Championships Medal Standings

The second day of the World Indoor Championships in Torun brought excitement for Polish fans. The day started with the mixed 4×400-meter relay, where Poland initially placed fourth. However, after Jamaica’s disqualification, Poland moved up to the podium and secured a bronze medal.
In the evening session, Natalia Bukowiecka claimed a silver medal in the 400-meter race. She also equaled the Polish indoor record. This achievement marks her first individual medal of this caliber in indoor competitions.
The highlight of the day was Jakub Szymański’s performance in the men’s 60-meter hurdles final. He emerged victorious in a thrilling finish, winning the gold by mere centimeters. Thanks to these outstanding results, Poland now holds three medals and ranks fourth in the medal standings.
