FPL Price Update: Senesi Gains, Guéhi and Muñoz Drop

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers encountered significant changes in player prices recently, impacting their team strategies. This update reveals a combination of price rises and falls that highlights player performances and ownership trends.
Price Changes Overview
- Rising Price: Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth) – £5.1m
- Falling Prices:
- Marc Guéhi (Manchester City) – £5.1m
- Daniel Muñoz (Crystal Palace) – £5.8m
- Kepa Arrizabalaga (Arsenal) – £4.0m
- Conor Gallagher (Tottenham) – £5.1m
Senesi’s Impressive Rise
Marcos Senesi, Bournemouth’s centre-back, has seen his price increase to £5.1m after a series of compelling defensive performances. With a current ownership of 19.8%, he remains a popular choice among budget players. Over his last three matches, he has amassed 25 points. His contributions included 4 points in a 1-1 draw against Sunderland, and impressive 11 and 10 points in clean sheet matches against Brentford and Burnley, respectively.
Looking forward, Senesi’s upcoming fixtures include a home match against Manchester United and an away game at Arsenal. However, he will also face Newcastle and Leeds at home and visit Crystal Palace, which could provide opportunities for more clean sheets.
Guéhi’s Decline
On the other hand, Marc Guéhi has dropped to £5.1m despite having 33.5% ownership. Although he has accumulated 110 points this season, his recent form has fluctuated. In his last three outings, Guéhi earned only 9 points—a stark contrast to his earlier performances. He scored 6 points in a win over Leeds but managed only 1 point in a draw with Nottingham Forest and 2 points against West Ham.
Guéhi also has a blank gameweek approaching, prompting many managers to reconsider their investments. His challenging future fixtures include matches against Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley, and Everton.
Muñoz Faces Challenges
Daniel Muñoz of Crystal Palace has also seen a price drop to £5.8m due to limited playtime. Despite having 136 points this season, his recent performances have been sparse. He earned just 1 point each in matches against Manchester United and Tottenham, where he played only 14 minutes. He has also not started in crucial fixtures, resulting in zero points during a draw against Leeds.
Similar to Guéhi, Muñoz faces a blank gameweek, leading to an ownership decrease to 7.4% as managers seek more reliable wing-back options.
Minor Market Moves
Additionally, two players with very low ownership have experienced price reductions. Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has fallen to £4.0m with an ownership of just 0.4%. Similarly, Tottenham’s Conor Gallagher has dropped to £5.1m with 0.1% ownership, highlighting their limited chances in the starting lineup.
These price changes play a significant role in shaping FPL managers’ strategic decisions, as they navigate the complexities of player performance and fixture schedules.
