These wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour. Additionally, an ongoing winter storm warning is in effect for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, forecasting an additional 5 to 10 centimeters of snow by midday.
Temperature Drop
The passage of this system is accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures. In Montreal, where temperatures reached 14°C on Monday night, a plunge to -8°C is anticipated on Tuesday. With the wind chill, it could feel as cold as -16°C.
