After giving birth, Bédard took what she described as her longest maternity leave yet, lasting seven weeks. “I enjoy spending time with my children, but I quickly feel restless at home,” she explained. “I find balance in both my family life and my work.” She acknowledged Karl’s unwavering support, stating, “Even though we are separated, he plays a significant role at home.” This teamwork allows her to dive back into her various artistic endeavors.

Once her maternity leave concluded, Bédard jumped back into her bustling career. She eagerly participated in the recordings for “Chanteurs masqués” and prepared for the opening night of “Chicago.” She is also set to perform at significant events, including the 30th anniversary of “La victoire de l’amour” at the Centre Vidéotron and the National Day celebration in Quebec City.
