April 2026 Conference: Four Sessions and Solemn Assembly During Easter Weekend
The upcoming April 2026 Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will coincide with Easter weekend. This significant event will feature four general sessions and a solemn assembly dedicated to core Christian themes.
Conference Details
The April 2026 Conference is scheduled for April 4-5 at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. The four sessions will occur at the following times (Mountain Daylight Time):
- Saturday, April 4: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Saturday, April 4: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sunday, April 5: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Sunday, April 5: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
A solemn assembly will be held during the Saturday morning session. This special gathering will mark the sustaining of the new Church President and First Presidency following the passing of President Russell M. Nelson on September 27, 2025. Dallin H. Oaks will serve as the new President, with Henry B. Eyring and D. Todd Christofferson as his counselors.
Solemn Assembly Significance
Solemn assemblies serve various sacred purposes, including the sustaining of a new Church president and special commemorations. However, the April 2026 assembly will not feature the traditional Hosanna Shout. This will be the inaugural gathering for the new First Presidency.

The April 2026 Conference will be streamed and broadcast in over 70 languages, ensuring accessibility for global participants. Messages will be available soon after the conference in text, audio, and video formats across various Church platforms.
Individuals and families interested in attending in person should contact local ward leaders for ticket information. Tickets will become available three months prior to the event. While there is no parking at the Conference Center, alternative parking options are available in downtown Salt Lake City. Each conference ticket also serves as a pass for Utah Transit Authority services, making attendance easier for participants.
For access to standby seating, attendees can arrive at the Salt Lake Tabernacle 90 minutes before the session’s start.
