About USPS

The U.S. Postal Service operates as an independent federal entity, serving nearly 169 million addresses. It aims to provide affordable, reliable, and secure mail and package delivery, operating six to seven days a week.

USPS is implementing a 10-year transformation plan named “Delivering for America.” This initiative aims to modernize its postal network and improve service quality across all mail and shipping categories.

Interestingly, the Postal Service funds its operations through postage sales and various services, as it does not receive taxpayer money for daily operating expenses.

For additional details about the app and related services, customers can visit El-Balad or access the USPS website. With its launch, the Informed Delivery Mobile app positions USPS to better meet the needs of its users in an increasingly digital world.
