Canada’s tennis stars showcased their skills at the Indian Wells tournament, achieving significant victories in both singles and doubles events.
Victoria Mboko Advances in Women’s Singles
Victoria Mboko, a 19-year-old talent from Toronto, earned her spot in the third round of women’s singles by defeating Australia’s Kimberly Birrell. The match concluded with a score of 6-4, 7-6 (5).

Denis Shapovalov from Richmond Hill, Ontario, also moved forward in the tournament after a challenging match against Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina. The encounter lasted two hours and 39 minutes, with Shapovalov winning 6-3, 2-6, 7-6.
