Transformations Underway for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
The attraction is set to reopen as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in summer 2026. The revamp will include the removal of Aerosmith elements, including a poster previously displayed on the exterior.
Limited Access to Courtyard
In a related development, access to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard was temporarily restricted. Early in the day, the gate was closed but reopened around 9:45 a.m. to allow guests to enter the Sunset Showcase, where the Disney Villains show is being performed. A sign at the entrance playfully announced the ride’s closure, stating: “We’re Moving Right Along. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is currently closed as we load in the band!” This line is a nod to the famous Muppets song “Movin’ Right Along” from The Muppet Movie.
