Fire crews in Toronto are currently investigating a dangerous carbon monoxide leak that hospitalized one individual early Monday morning. The incident occurred in Etobicoke, specifically on Taysham Crescent, around 1:49 a.m.

Firefighters from Toronto Fire Services responded to what was initially reported as a medical emergency. Upon arrival, they discovered concerning levels of carbon monoxide within the home. One person was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Additionally, two other residents were assessed at the scene but chose not to go to the hospital. The emergency response team remained on site, collaborating with Enbridge Gas technicians to determine the source of the carbon monoxide leak.
