Tributes Pour In for Beloved Haulier Sean Kelly

The passing of Sean Kelly has triggered an outpouring of tributes from both the Fermanagh community and the trucking sector. Mr. Kelly, who resided at 73 Station Road, Derryaghna, Letterbreen, died on February 26 while working on the road.

Widely respected among his peers, Kelly was a cherished figure whose absence is deeply felt. One tribute eloquently expressed the community’s sentiment: “Sean sadly lost his life while on the road, doing the job we all do. He’ll be remembered for the chats, the stories, and the nights of crack. The yard won’t be the same without him.”

Family and Personal Life

A devoted family man, Sean was married to Siobhan and was a proud father to Catherine, Shannan, Michael, Maria, and Joanne. He also took joy in being a grandfather to D’arcy and Casey.

His Legacy and Funeral Arrangements

Sean Kelly is survived by a large family, including his brothers Jim, Jackson, Eamon, Colm, Aidan, Maurice, and John, and sisters Helen and Pauline. His wide circle of friends and colleagues will also remember him fondly.

Sean will repose at his home in Letterbreen, welcoming visitors on Sunday from 12 noon to 8 PM and on Monday from 2 PM to 6 PM. His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, starting with a removal at 10:15 AM to St. Mary’s Church in Arney for an 11 AM Requiem Mass. He will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
