Regina Tarin, a promising 21-year-old flyweight fighter from Mexico, has signed with the UFC. Known as one of the fastest-rising talents in Latin American MMA, Tarin is set to make her debut at UFC Fight Night 268 in her home city of Mexico City on Saturday.

In her seven professional bouts, Tarin has secured six finishes, comprising four knockouts and two submissions. Notably, she reached out to UFC president Dana White last November, expressing her desire for a shot in the organization.

Tarin’s opponent, Ernesta Kareckaite from Lithuania, aims to maintain her momentum following a victory in January 2025 over Nicolle Caliari. That win came after she faced Dione Barbosa in her promotional debut, where she lost by unanimous decision.
