Beau Greaves Hits Historic Nine-Darter on PDC ProTour Against Suljovic

Beau Greaves made history by becoming the first female player to hit a nine-darter during a PDC ProTour event. This remarkable achievement occurred during a match against Mensur Suljovic at the Players Championship held in Leicester.

Historic Nine-Darter Performance

The 22-year-old Greaves executed a flawless leg of darts, celebrating with a fist-pump and a smile after securing a 6-5 victory. Suljovic, unfortunately, missed three match darts, allowing Greaves to advance.

Tournament Progression

  • Defeated Chris Landman in the first round with a score of 6-5.
  • She reached the third round but lost to David Sharp 6-3.
  • Sharp had previously defeated former world champion Peter Wright during the same event.

Greaves expressed her disbelief at achieving the nine-darter, stating, “I couldn’t believe I’d hit it!” She noted how important it was for her to perform well, especially with her father watching. “It was hard to get back into the game after I’d hit it,” she added, reflecting on the nerves following her achievement.

Recent Achievements and Dominance

Greaves has also had an outstanding run in the Women’s Series. Recently, she started the 2026 Women’s Series in Germany, maintaining a winning streak of 113 matches. During this period, she has accumulated 17 consecutive titles, winning 27 games with just 23 legs dropped and achieving 14 whitewashes.

  • Three-time WDF World Darts Championship champion.
  • Unbeaten in the Women’s Series circuit since April 2025.
  • Only the fourth woman to hold a PDC Tour Card.

Since earned her Tour Card by finishing second in the 2025 PDC Developmental Tour rankings, Greaves has quickly established herself as a formidable competitor. She became the first woman to reach the final of the PDC World Youth Championship by defeating Luke Littler in the semi-finals last year.

Future Prospects

As she continues to compete against the world’s best players, Greaves remains focused on improving her game. “I’m enjoying my start to life on the PDC ProTour,” she admitted. “If you lose a game, it’s just a case of your opponent playing better than you on the day.”

With her recent accomplishments, Greaves is well-poised to impact the PDC ProTour and inspire future generations of female darts players.
