Flair Writing Launches Wooden Pencil Production Line with 8.4 Crore Capacity

Flair Writing Industries has formally launched a wooden pencil production line through its subsidiary, Flomaxe Stationery Private Limited. Located in Surat, the new facility boasts an impressive annual capacity of 8.4 crore wooden pencils.

Expansion of Flair’s Product Line

This strategic move marks Flair’s commitment to enhancing its creative portfolio. The production line will not only focus on wooden pencils but also on related products, including erasers and sharpeners. This broader product offering will help the company engage various customer segments within the stationery market.

Managing Director Vimalchand Rathod emphasized that this expansion aligns with Flair’s strategy to deepen its involvement in the rapidly growing creative segment. Flair has already established itself as one of the top three players in India’s writing instruments market.

Manufacturing Units and Product Diversity

The company operates 11 manufacturing units across multiple locations, including Naigaon, Valsad, Daman, Surat, and Dehradun. Flair’s diverse product portfolio features several well-known brands, such as Flair, Flair Creative, Hauser, Pierre Cardin, and ZOOX.

Additionally, Flair has partnered with MAPED to distribute its products in India. The company is also expanding its offerings to include steel bottles and various houseware items.

With this new wooden pencil production line, Flair Writing Industries is well-positioned to strengthen its market presence and expand its creative category further.
