Team Canada Highlights for Day 9 at Milano Cortina 2026

February 14, 2026, marks an action-packed day for Team Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Athletes from various disciplines aim to showcase their skills and contend for medals, with several important events scheduled throughout the day.

Alpine Skiing

Four Canadian athletes will compete in the women’s giant slalom. The first run begins at 4:00 a.m. ET. The competitors are:

  • Valérie Grenier – Starting 9th
  • Britt Richardson – Starting 15th
  • Cassidy Gray – Starting 34th
  • Justine Lamontagne – Starting 42nd

The second run is set for 7:30 a.m. ET, with results calculated from the combined times of both runs.

Biathlon

Four Canadians qualified for the pursuit races based on their sprint performances. The schedule features:

  • Men’s 12.5km pursuit at 5:15 a.m. ET
  • Women’s 10km pursuit at 8:45 a.m. ET

Speed Skating – Long Track

The women’s 500m event is scheduled for 11:03 a.m. ET. Key competitors include:

  • Béatrice Lamarche – Racing after a strong performance in the 1000m
