Rumored Prices for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Revealed

Recent insights suggest that Apple is likely to maintain the starting prices for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max similar to the previous iPhone 17 Pro models. This information comes from Jeff Pu, an analyst at GF Securities, who shared his findings based on recent supply chain research.
Pricing Expectations for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
According to Pu, Apple is focusing on “cost management” to avoid price hikes. He stated that the starting prices for the upcoming models would be “unchanged” or at a “similar level” compared to the iPhone 17 Pro models, which are priced at:
- iPhone 17 Pro: $1,099
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: $1,199
Supplier Negotiations and Cost Management
To achieve this pricing strategy, Apple has reportedly been negotiating with major suppliers like Samsung and SK Hynix for better memory chip deals. Pu highlighted the importance of securing “favorable” prices amid rising costs for DRAM and NAND storage.
Additionally, he mentioned that Apple is exploring ways to reduce expenses for other key components, including the display and camera technology.
Industry Predictions
Ming-Chi Kuo, another prominent analyst, echoed similar sentiments. He also predicted that Apple aims to keep starting prices “flat” compared to the iPhone 17 Pro models. He emphasized a general avoidance of price increases.
The official unveiling of the iPhone 18 Pro models is anticipated in September, aligning with Apple’s typical product launch schedule.
As Apple navigates these challenges, consumers eagerly await further updates on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pricing and features.
