The Orillia Figure Skating Club is set to celebrate its 75th anniversary with a festive weekend event on March 7 and 8, 2026. The celebration will honor the legacy of the club and its contributions to the sport of figure skating since its founding in 1951.
Carnival Ice Show Overview
The highlight of the anniversary weekend is the Carnival Ice Show, themed “The Beat Goes On: Celebrating 75 Years on the Ice.” This event will occur on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Rotary Place Arena, featuring two performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The show will showcase talent from Orillia Figure Skating Club skaters of all ages and levels. It will also include special performances by alumni, culminating with a headlining act from Elvis Stojko, a distinguished three-time world champion and two-time Olympic silver medallist.

A post-show meet and greet with Elvis Stojko will take place after the evening performance on March 7. It will start around 9:30 p.m. Limited tickets for this event must be bought online in advance, and children under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Alumni Social Gathering
The anniversary festivities will conclude with an alumni social gathering on Sunday, March 8, 2026. This event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hawk Ridge Golf Club.
