In an attempt to reclaim his dreams, Holliday adopts a new identity as Chad Powers, an eccentric yet talented football enthusiast, joining the South Georgia Catfish. Developed by Powell alongside “Rick and Morty” creator Michael Waldron, the series is expected to offer a refreshingly unique take on the college football scene.
“We aimed to create a show that resonates with both college and professional football fans, offering something they recognize as extraordinary and authentic,” Powell shared in an interview with Reuters.
