In a concurrent roster adjustment, cornerback Jason Marshall Jr. has been placed on the injured reserve list. Marshall Jr. has had an emerging presence on the field, participating in three games this season with the Dolphins and recording three tackles. Drafted by Miami in 2025 as the 150th overall pick, Marshall Jr. has shown potential since his college days at Florida, where he played 45 games, accumulated 98 tackles, and excelled in defense.

Over five seasons, he has appeared in 47 NFL games, playing for teams such as Detroit, Jacksonville, Cleveland, the New York Jets, Atlanta, and now Miami. Patterson also has valuable postseason experience, participating in playoff games with Jacksonville in 2022 and Cleveland in 2023.

Originally from Miami and a distinguished alumnus of Miami Palmetto Senior High School, where he was a first-team all-state selection, Jason Marshall Jr. has demonstrated significant talent throughout his career. During his collegiate years at the University of Florida, he was a consistent starter, contributing significantly to the Gators’ defense over four seasons.

Before stepping into the NFL, Riley Patterson made his mark playing for Memphis from 2017 to 2020. During his college career, he honed his skills across 52 games, maintaining a field goal conversion rate of 77.1%. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent with Minnesota in 2021, Patterson has consistently demonstrated his reliability and skill in high-pressure situations.
