Brooke Henderson Enlists Veteran Caddie as Sister Brittany Awaits First Child

Brooke Henderson is set to embark on a new chapter in her golf career during the 2026 LPGA Tour season. This shift comes as her sister and longtime caddie, Brittany, prepares to welcome her first child.
Brittany Henderson’s Pregnancy and Caddie Transition
Brittany is expecting her first baby with husband Zach Sepanik, with the due date in June. As a result, Brooke will enlist veteran caddie John Killeen for most of the upcoming season. Brooke expressed her feelings about this transition, stating how she has worked effectively with Brittany for a decade. “Britt and I have worked so well together for the past 10 seasons,” she said, emphasizing their strong bond.
Impact on Golfing Partnership
The Henderson sisters have created a remarkable partnership in professional golf. Since 2015, Brittany has been instrumental in Brooke’s success, caddying for 12 of her 14 LPGA Tour victories, which include two major championships. Brittany will still accompany Brooke for the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, beginning January 29. In this tournament, Brooke will compete as a former champion, having won it in 2023.
Experience of New Caddie John Killeen
Following the season opener, John Killeen will take on caddie duties as the tour proceeds to Asia. Killeen brings over 40 years of experience, having previously worked with Hall of Fame golfers such as Juli Inkster and Meg Mallon as well as major winner Cristie Kerr. His extensive background makes him a valuable addition to Brooke’s team.
Brittany’s Dual Role
Beyond her caddie responsibilities, Brittany has also acted as Brooke’s swing coach on the road. She has played a crucial role in providing feedback, serving as the eyes and ears for their father and primary coach, Dave Henderson. Although Brittany will step back from her caddie role, there remains a possibility for her to return later in the year. She hopes to participate in the CME Group Tour Championship in November, depending on her new motherhood timeline.
Brooke’s Focus for the 2026 Season
The upcoming season signifies a significant change for Brooke as she prepares for a new phase in her professional life. Despite these changes, she remains optimistic and excited for her sister. “I’m super excited,” Brooke said, expressing her happiness for Brittany and Zach. “I’m really happy for Brittany and Zach, and I’m excited to be an aunt as well.”
The 2026 LPGA season will feature a record number of events, and Brooke is determined to continue her pursuit for her 14th career victory while aiming to climb back up the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.
