Bayview Village is gearing up to welcome the Year of the Horse as it hosts an exciting celebration for Lunar New Year 2026. In collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, this event promises a range of performances, activities, and promotions aimed at bringing the community together.
Wishing Tree and Celebratory Activities
A highlight of the festivities is the magnificent Wishing Tree located in Centre Court. Visitors can make a wish by writing it on a card, available at the Concierge desk from February 7th to March 3rd during Centre hours.
Performance Schedule
Two lion dance performances will take place at 12 PM and 3 PM, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the shopping centre. Additionally, the God of Fortune will visit, providing guests an opportunity to receive a special BV Pink Envelope. This envelope may contain blessings for the new year or a chance to win an $88 Bayview Village gift card, limited to one per guest and available while supplies last.
Exclusive Gifts and Promotions
From 12 PM to 5 PM, guests spending $88 or more will receive a hand-painted lantern or fan, decorated by traditional Chinese calligraphers near the Centre Court (one gift per person, while supplies last).
Live Broadcast and Tenant Promotions
Join Leslie Yip for a live broadcast of A1 Chinese Radio from 12 PM to 4 PM in East Court. Numerous participating shops will also offer special Lunar New Year promotions:
