The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a forecast indicating a prolonged hot and dry spell across major regions of Peninsular Malaysia. This weather condition is expected to persist until January 31.

According to MetMalaysia’s director-general, Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, the northern region will experience the most intense heat and dryness. The conditions are caused by a wind convergence affecting the area.
