Neural DSP Launches Powerful, Compact Quad Cortex Mini Model

Neural DSP has officially launched the Quad Cortex Mini ahead of the 2026 NAMM Show. This new model brings the sound and processing capabilities of the flagship Quad Cortex amp modeller into a more compact design.

Quad Cortex Mini: Key Features and Specifications

The Quad Cortex Mini measures 22.8 x 11.8 x 6.5 cm and weighs only 1.5 kg. It is 50% smaller than its predecessor, making it easier to integrate into pedalboards, compact racks, and desktop studios.

Advanced Features

The Quad Cortex Mini supports Neural Capture V1 and V2, allowing users to capture a wide range of sounds, from amps to effects. The Focus system enables quick parameter adjustments through the footswitches, while the Pages system facilitates extended control without additional hardware.

Performance and Integration

The unit includes a locking power connector, ensuring a secure operation during live performances. Users can seamlessly transfer presets and backups between the Quad Cortex and the Mini version.

Future Updates: CorOS 4.0.0

Neural DSP has also launched CorOS 4.0.0 alongside the Mini. This update introduces new utilities, including enhanced reverb options and Phase Doctor for stereo rig alignment.

Douglas Castro, CEO of Neural DSP, emphasized the company’s commitment to quality. “Our goal has been to set the standard for all-in-one digital rigs,” he stated. The Quad Cortex Mini aims to deliver the same audio quality and creative capabilities as its larger counterpart.
