Ashley McBryde Unveils New Single ‘What If We Don’t’

Singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde is set to release her new single, “What If We Don’t,” on January 23. This highly anticipated track comes through Warner Records Nashville and is the first look at her fifth studio album.

A Glimpse into “What If We Don’t”

The inspiration for “What If We Don’t” arose during a moment of reflection. McBryde, along with songwriters Terri Jo Box and Randall Clay, created the song while seated around a fire pit. They reminisced about choices made and contemplated the impact of different decisions.

McBryde described the essence of the song as the exploration of “leaps of faith” we choose to take or avoid. She emphasized the importance of accepting the consequences of those choices, whether positive or negative.

Upcoming Performances

In addition to her new single, McBryde will also revive her “Redemption Residency” in 2026. The next series of performances will kick off with two special solo acoustic shows, titled “Just Me + My Shadow.”

  • Performance Dates: January 22 and 23, 2026
  • Location: Chief’s Neon Steeple, Nashville’s Lower Broadway

Fans eagerly await both the release of “What If We Don’t” and McBryde’s upcoming performances. El-Balad will continue to provide updates on her projects and events.
