On Friday, a significant seismic event struck Mexico City, registering a 5.2 magnitude earthquake. The quake’s epicenter was located 17 kilometers southwest of San Marcos in Guerrero. The National Seismological Service reported the tremor occurred shortly before 1 a.m., prompting the activation of the seismic alert in Mexico City.
