The Honourable Rosalie Silberman Abella
The Honourable Rosalie Silberman Abella, a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, has been named Companion of the Order of Canada. Her appointment acknowledges her profound influence on constitutional law and human rights.

- Pioneer in the field of employment equity through her role as sole commissioner of the Royal Commission on Equality in Employment
- Contributed over 90 articles and four books

James Retallack
James Retallack, a graduate of Champlain College at Trent University, is recognized as a Member of the Order of Canada for his significant research in modern European history. A Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, Retallack has made substantial contributions to the understanding of German political culture.
