Paramount Adapts ‘Recovery Agent’ Books for Film; Gal Gadot to Produce, Star

Paramount Pictures has announced its acquisition of the popular Recovery Agent book series by Janet Evanovich. This project will serve as a potential starring vehicle for the acclaimed actress Gal Gadot.

The film will be developed under the banner of Carol Mendelsohn Productions, with Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz at the helm. Gadot, alongside her partner Jaron Varsano, will produce through their company, Pilot Wave. Ellen Shanman, known for her work on Voltron, will adapt the screenplay for this exciting venture.

About the Recovery Agent Series

The Recovery Agent series follows Gabriela Rose, a daring recovery agent involved in retrieving stolen or lost high-value items. She navigates dangerous situations often with her unpredictable ex-husband, Rafer Burke. Their adventures take them from tropical islands to global hotspots, where they face various criminals and rival treasure hunters.
