Colleen Hoover, the acclaimed author known for works such as “It Ends With Us” and “Regretting You,” recently shared significant news regarding her health. In a candid social media update, she revealed that she has been undergoing treatment for cancer.

Hoover disclosed that she is nearing the end of her radiation treatment, with only one session remaining. Her post featured a simple message: “Second to last day of radiation.” She expressed gratitude towards Texas Oncology for their support throughout her treatment.
Cancer Diagnosis and Recovery
In December, Hoover first announced her cancer diagnosis via Facebook, although she did not specify the type of cancer. She confirmed that her treatment did not include chemotherapy; surgery was performed to remove the cancer, which she described as a huge and scary experience.
While reflecting on her health journey, Hoover explained that she experienced ongoing health issues while filming “Reminds of Him” in Canada. She put off addressing these issues until the conclusion of the movie shoot. Upon returning home, she learned about her cancer diagnosis.

Due to her health challenges, Hoover had to withdraw from promotional activities for “Regretting You.” She mentioned missing out on important career events, including a film premiere and a signing event she was scheduled to host for actor Lukas Gage. Expressing her disappointment, she stated, “I’m super bummed, but am having an unavoidable surgery and can’t travel for a while.”
