CELJE Prosecutors Demand Nearly 24-Year Sentence for Vozlič

A court in Celje has concluded the main hearing for Uroš Vozlič, but no verdict has been announced regarding the murder of Edin Delič. Delič was found shot in a business-residential building in Trnava near Mali Braslovčah in September 2023. The court is expected to announce its decision on Thursday morning, although it is uncertain whether Vozlič will be brought from detention in time.

Prosecutors Seek Long Sentence for Vozlič

The prosecution is seeking a sentence of nearly 24 years for Uroš Vozlič. This includes 23 years for the murder of Delič and an additional ten months for charges related to extortion. Vozlič has consistently maintained his innocence, arguing that he should be acquitted.
