Between now and Sunday afternoon, about 15 centimeters of snow is anticipated in cities such as Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, and Shawinigan. Along with heavy snowfall, winds may reach speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour, creating drifting snow conditions, especially near the river.
Gaspésie Region
In the Gaspésie area, snow accumulation could be as much as 25 centimeters by Monday evening. The hazardous conditions are expected to significantly affect travel and outdoor activities.
Côte-Nord Warnings
A winter storm warning is currently in effect for Côte-Nord. Forecasts indicate that snowfall could reach 35 centimeters by Monday evening. In this region, wind gusts may rise to an alarming 110 kilometers per hour, particularly around Natashquan.
