The Honda float will set the tone for the parade with its theme, “The Power in Teams.” This concept aligns with the overall theme of the parade, “The Magic in Teamwork.” Last year, the opening act was performed by well-known artists Kiesza and Aloe Blacc.

About Bishop Briggs

  • Real Name: Sarah Grace McLaughlin
  • Age: 33
  • Origin: London, England

Bishop Briggs adopted her stage name to avoid confusion with the renowned Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan. The name pays homage to Bishopbriggs, the Scottish town where her parents grew up.

Musical Achievements

Briggs first gained significant attention with her 2015 single “Wild Horses,” featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Acura. However, her breakthrough came with the release of “River” in 2016, which reached number 3 on Billboard’s US Alternative Chart. This success earned her the opportunity to open for Coldplay during their “A Head Full of Dreams” tour.

At the Rose Parade, she will perform “River” alongside her 2019 hit “Champion.”

Current Status

With over 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Briggs has cultivated a dedicated fan base. In October 2025, she released her latest EP, “When It’s Halloween,” further showcasing her diverse artistic talents.

Bishop Briggs’ performance at the 2026 Rose Parade promises to be a highlight, celebrating teamwork and collaboration through music and artistry.
