Firefighters Quell New Year’s Eve 2-Alarm House Blaze

The Honolulu Fire Department successfully extinguished a 2-alarm house fire in Ewa Beach on Wednesday evening. The blaze erupted around 7 p.m. on Maipuhi Street, prompting an immediate response from fire crews.
Fire Response and Extinguishment
Firefighters arrived quickly and commenced operations to control the flames. Video footage captured at the scene depicted considerable smoke emerging from the home’s garage.
By approximately 7:30 p.m., the fire was declared under control and fully extinguished. Fortunately, Emergency Medical Services were also on-site but reported no injuries related to the incident.

The Honolulu Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire. At this time, an assessment of the damages incurred is underway.
