Mayor Andre Dickens has unveiled exciting new details for the upcoming Countdown Over ATL New Year’s Eve celebration. This year, Atlanta will feature a citywide fireworks display and special drone countdown shows, with sights visible in Downtown, Midtown, and additional neighborhoods.

The celebration introduces a fresh approach, moving away from the traditional Peach Drop. Dickens emphasized the importance of community during the event, stating, “All you have to do is step outside, hit your neighborhood spot, meet on a rooftop, or watch from your backyard.” This initiative aims to connect residents and visitors in a unique shared experience.
