Vladivostok’s Central Square was abuzz as residents and visitors gathered to bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the new year, 2026. The square initially saw a modest turnout, but crowds grew steadily as midnight approached.
New Year’s Eve Festivities
The main stage showcased various performances, featuring festive songs reflecting the spirit of winter and the joyful holiday season. At 10 PM, the scheduled program came to an end, leading into an impressive fireworks display.

On January 1, a concert titled “Hello, New Year!” is scheduled to run from 12 PM to 1 PM, followed by a screening of New Year cartoons from 1 PM to 2 PM. For families, Santa Claus’s residence will be open from January 1 to 7, offering children the chance to recite poetry for sweets and participate in workshops.
Additionally, public transport in Vladivostok was adjusted to ensure service continuity, with extended bus hours in the city center until midnight. Overall, the New Year celebrations in Vladivostok have successfully created a joyful atmosphere, drawing locals and visitors alike to the vibrant Central Square.
