‘Mighty Ducks’ Actor Shaun Weiss Reports Tylor Chase’s Return to Streets

Actor Shaun Weiss, known for his role in the “Mighty Ducks,” has recently reported troubling news about Tylor Chase, a former star of “Ned’s Declassified.” Tylor, who had shown promise in obtaining much-needed rehabilitation, has found himself back on the streets.
Tylor Chase’s Ongoing Struggles
Reports indicate that Tylor Chase, following an evaluation by a mental health crisis team, was initially placed in a 72-hour psychiatric hold. The crisis team was contacted by Jacob Harris, the owner of Shipwreck Barbershop in Riverside, California, who has been advocating for Tylor’s well-being.
Details of the Evaluation
- Tylor was assessed to be in need of help but was inexplicably released afterward.
- Shaun Weiss stated, “They were supposed to hold him and then transport him to a detox facility that we had arranged.”
- Tylor was found on the streets later, evaluated again, and described as a danger to himself.
During the latest assessment, Tylor reportedly displayed concerning behavior, including smoking meth without proper clothing in cold weather. Despite these alarming signs, he was not placed back in care.
A Call for Support
Shaun Weiss expressed concerns that well-meaning fans providing money to Tylor are inadvertently hindering his recovery efforts. He has attempted to reach out to members of the Screen Actors Guild for assistance, and he is appealing to local authorities in Riverside for help.
Shaun works closely with a rehab facility called Eleven 11 Recovery in San Clemente. He mentioned that a bed is available for Tylor, but participation requires Tylor’s consent.
The Community’s Response
The push to support Tylor Chase has intensified after social media videos depicted him in a dire state. His former co-stars from “Ned’s Declassified” addressed these troubling images on their podcast last September, highlighting the need for community support.
As Tylor navigates these challenges, the hope remains that he can find the assistance he requires to regain stability and health.
