Misty Cheng’s house, which she purchased three years ago, became engulfed by a river of muddy water. Cheng described witnessing the damage as a “Nightmare Before Christmas.” The aftermath left her home in a state of chaos, covered in thick sludge.

Following the disaster, Cheng and a group of volunteers initiated the arduous task of cleaning her property. In just two days, Cheng, assisted by eight men and a volunteer, worked tirelessly to excavate the mud that reached heights exceeding her own.
