The Delaware State Police have announced funeral arrangements for Corporal Grade One Matthew T. “Ty” Snook, who tragically lost his life on December 23, 2025, while serving in the line of duty.

Services to honor Cpl/1 Snook will take place on January 5, 2026. The venue for the ceremony is the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center, located at 631 S. College Avenue, Newark, Delaware 19716.
Schedule of Events
- Public Visitation: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Pass and Review: Following the visitation, uniformed emergency services personnel will conduct a pass and review.
- Memorial Service: This will commence immediately after the pass and review.
- Final Honors: These honors will be presented outside the venue, expected to conclude by 3 p.m.
Interment will be private, closed to the public and media. A media staging area will be designated outside the facility in line with this privacy. Further details will be issued by the Delaware State Police Public Information Office as the date approaches.
