Ka‘imi Fairbairn Achieves Historic Milestone with NFL Franchise

Ka‘imi Fairbairn, a notable alumnus of Punahou School, has etched his name in NFL history. This weekend, he played a key role in the Houston Texans’ 23-21 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. As the team’s starting kicker, Fairbairn successfully completed all three of his field goal attempts, including two impressive kicks from over 50 yards. He also converted both extra point attempts, surpassing the impressive milestone of 1,000 career points.

Historic Milestone for Fairbairn

With this achievement, Fairbairn became the first player in Houston Texans franchise history to reach over 1,000 career points. His journey began after he graduated from Punahou School in 2012, when he won the starting kicker position at UCLA as a true freshman. During his four years with the Bruins, he earned the prestigious Lou Groza Award in 2015, recognizing him as the top kicker in college football.
