Rain and Flooding Close Los Angeles 5 Freeway After FedEx Truck Crash

A section of the 5 Freeway in San Fernando has been shut down following a serious traffic incident involving a FedEx truck. The crash occurred early in the morning, around 3:45 a.m., in the northbound lanes near the interchange with the 118 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the freeway closure would extend for an additional three hours after the initial incident. Eyewitnesses noted packages spilled across the roadway, although no injuries have been confirmed.
