Fatal Glendale Collision Leaves One Dead, Another Critical; 210 Freeway Reopens

One individual tragically lost their life, and another was critically injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the 210 Freeway in Glendale, California. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

Accident Details

The California Highway Patrol received reports of the collision at 1:21 a.m. on the eastbound side of the 210 Freeway. The crash site was located near Lowell Avenue, close to the city limits between Glendale and Sunland-Tujunga.

Scene Investigation

Upon arriving, officers discovered multiple vehicles involved, including a Nissan Pathfinder that had flipped onto its side. Officer Elizabeth Kravig, a spokesperson for the CHP, confirmed that emergency responders were present at the scene.

Victim Information

Emergency personnel from the Glendale Fire Department assessed the situation. Unfortunately, they pronounced one person dead at the site.
